Database instruction for FW HS students

Please post a comment on one or more of the following questions:

1. Which database do you think will be most useful to you?

2. Do you think it will be difficult to cite the online resources, and if so, do you know where to go for assistance?

3. If the LCCC Library had a "game night," with popular PC computer games and board games, would you attend the event, and if so, would Friday night (after football season) be a convenient time?

4. Have you read any good books lately?

4. Yes. Over the summer I read The DaVinci Code and a few John Grisham books. They were all very good.

I think the academic databases will be most useful, along with the pro/con argumentative texts.

I think that the database will be very helpful when doing papers and research papers. The academic search premier will be a big help. Also the pro-con database will help with writing papers for my government class.

Yes!!!! I think that it would be a great idea to have a game night. Also friday nights would probably be great, b/c most true gamers don't go to many sports events. (That doesn't make them nerds!!)

I learned a lot today about databases. I was a little confused at first, but then I got the grasp of it. This is much better than high school research!!
